Creating an open plan kitchen in Glossop
Nick got in touch with us as he wanted to upgrade the kitchen for the tenants in a rental property he owns. Initially the house had a narrow hallway through the house which restricted the space available in the kitchen.
For Phase 1 of the project we removed the wall, installing an RSJ, and making good the surroundings in order to create a much bigger, lighter and inviting space. We also removed an old radiator and fitted a much more efficient and better looking new one.
Next for Phase 2 we removed the dated kitchen, improved all plumbing and electrics, plastered where necessary, and fitted a modern kitchen provided by Factory Kitchens of Hadfield, Glossop. This included the building of a bespoke cupboard and boxing in for the boiler.
Lastly we added finishing touches such as under-counter LED lights and tiled surrounds.
This kitchen is now ready to serve the family who live there for many years to come whilst being much more spacious and easier to clean and maintain.
