A narrow kitchen transformed in Cheshire
This kitchen took us away from our usual locations of Glossop and Marple down to Macclesfield in Cheshire. This kitchen is inside an extension at the back of what is a unique, long, narrow end of terraced house and as such brought it’s own challenges due to the unusual shape and tapering walls.
Although on the surface it looks like an old kitchen out/new kitchen in scenario, there was actually a lot of work to do behind the scenes bringing plumbing and electrics up to standard to facilitate a powerful new hob and new appliances.
We had also previously added the stud wall at the end of the room to create a downstairs bathroom so that was now tied in with the kitchen renovation to complete the entire project.
As well as the kitchen itself we fitted a new floor, and once the work was done the finished room felt completely transformed from how it once had been.
